Shannon N. ForsterAccounting & Portfolio Operations Director

Shannon was raised on a hobby farm in rural southwestern Michigan with horses, goats, chickens, pheasants and whatever else her father found at the auction that week. As a child, she participated in 4-H. Shannon also lived in Indiana, surrounded by corn, soybean, and hay fields, where she helped her brother and his family with their small-scale cattle ranch.

Following the receipt of her Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accountancy from Western Michigan University, Shannon worked as an accountant first in a public accounting firm then for several years at the State of Michigan. In order to pursue her life-long interest in writing, Shannon also earned a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing and has taught both creative writing and English composition classes.

In 2011 Shannon joined Harvest Capital Company to provide both accounting and administrative support. She also services our existing portfolio by generating billing statements, receiving loan payments, and ensuring borrowers are in compliance with loan and mortgage requirements. Additionally Shannon provides accounting support to the Oregon FFA Foundation and the Oregon FFA Association on behalf of Harvest Capital Company. For this work, she received an Honorary State FFA Degree from the Oregon FFA Association.
