Will Keech – Investment Analyst
Growing up on a small farming operation in Southern Nebraska, Will developed a passion for the agricultural industry and rural communities. Actively involved in both FFA & 4-H as a youth, Will spent many a summer weekend exhibiting livestock at jackpot shows and fairs throughout the midwest. Will’s FFA experience ultimately culminated when he received the American FFA Degree in 2011.
After high school, Will attended college where he pursued a degree in Agricultural Business from Northwest Missouri State University. During his time in Maryville, he held multiple leadership positions in Collegiate FFA, PAS, and was a member of the Alpha Gamma Rho fraternity. Upon completing his education, Will returned home to Nebraska and began his career with Wells Fargo Bank, initially in Lincoln, before soon moving to McCook to manage the bank’s agricultural and commercial lending interests in Southwest Nebraska. It is here that Will became well versed in all aspects of lending, and gained experience meeting the credit needs of many sectors within the industry, ranging from agribusinesses to farmers and stockmen of all sizes.
Following a short stint outside of banking in agricultural policy work, Will was drawn to Harvest Capital due to their relationship driven, customer centric approach to lending, combined with their 30 year commitment to the ag industry. From his home south of McCook, Will originates and manages a loan portfolio, serving the needs of Harvest Capital clients throughout the High Plains.
Outside of his professional career, Will is often found spending his weekends giving back to the agricultural industry by traveling to judge livestock shows throughout the country. He maintains membership with numerous agricultural groups within Nebraska, and actively participates in rural economic development initiatives.
